John Blundell

Chairman and Managing Partner, John is the owner and driving force behind Centec. John is a chemistry graduate of Manchester University and his early career included posts as Plant Manager with Lankro and Technical Director of Manro. He established Crewe Chemicals, building four factories under this umbrella and later founded two more companies, including Pentagon Chemicals.

Centec is established on the site adjacent to his last company, Agrotech, which he sold in 1991 to BIP. Centec builds on John's fifty years' experience in the chemicals industry.

Lucian Davies

R and D Director, Lucian joined Centec in December 2002 following 6 years' experience in the chemical industry with a small industrial Chemical supplier. A synthetic chemist by training, he is responsible for development of new synthetic routes in the custom and fine chemicals part of the buisiness as well as handling enquiries for new products.
