CENTEC Expands Product Portfolio
CENTEC, The Centre for Environmental Technology, has commissioned a multi-purpose extraction and crystallisation plant to meet the growing needs of customers seeking to recover valuable materials and by-products from intermediate or waste streams.
Following a successful programme of laboratory development, Centec has succeeded in developing a synthesis route for sodium 2-ethyl hexanoate. This pharmaceutical building block can be prepared to a high specification avoiding the gel formation which complicates the traditional manufacturing process.
Centec can now offer this material in tonne quantities - price and specification on request.
